A look East on highway 2 coming back from Leavenworth. The sky felt soooo big on this highway with the road stretching out for miles in front of us. It felt like you could just lift off and float into the sky. It was a good drive home.
There is a unique beauty in it that for some reason really captured me on this road. Something about the freedom of open spaces vs the confined and crowded landscape I am used to, refreshed me greatly. It pulled on something in my spirit and caused a yearning or longing at the same time or it revealed it, not sure. A strange joy was found simply driving it.

That's one thing I like about the area I live in. It's like that pretty much whichever direction you go.
