$200,000...say what?

So what do you think of this? For the record...I think it is whacked.
Send me $200,000 instead...we need to house some refugees, rehabilitate some drug users, help some single moms find affordable housing and train some urban missionaries. $200,000 would go a long way...as for a prayer retreat...I'll pray on the street.

My question is, where is this place? Is she where political leaders don't allow freedom of worship or is she simply somewhere in the states? And it sounds as though the "threshing floor" is only her place of prayer (I, me, my, etc. are the only pronouns used in her message). I would have a lot more compassion if it were a community center where anyone could come and intercede and pray at any time, after all, most churches are closed except for services and scheduled prayer times.

It leaves me more confused than anything. Plus, what was she saying about the ark of the convenent residing there?

Rach,
I have to respond to this woman's video and maybe it will answer some of your questions.
30 acres of lake-front property,
a gold wall where you can be noticed, and like you mentioned, I, me,my.
There are tares in with the wheat, this is tares, nothing to question, nothing hidden; it is blatant and repulsive. This is what shames the name of Christ.
You need not be confused, or feel guilty for examining the tree and seeing nothing but leaves, albiet soft and pretty; we must be wise, though gentle.
She will get her $200,000. and that is the greatest crime. Like the old hymn says, "trust not the sweetest frame".

Is she giving out tee shirts that say "SUCKER" on the front?

OH crap....I'm licking the stamp right now...I need my name on that wall. I don't know how I'll make it in life with out this Dr. praying for me. Hurry, everyone, hurry before it's too late.

I had a joke all lined up for this, but I can't say it.

Like Fred said, this is repulsive. This is maddening. When she got to the "gold wall" part, my blood was boiling.

How can anyone think that there is any Gospel in that? Even a little? That is so far removed from anything pertaining to the message of Christ that it's not even funny.

I don't understand. She needs $200,000 to carpet her living room?

Yes, she will get her money. And again Fred is right, that is a crime. And it's heartbreaking. And it's insanity. I would write a strongly worded letter to her, but it would get tossed when they discover there isn't a check in it.

Unbelievable.
