The symbol of the 16th Century Protestant Reformation - a “burning bush” with the Latin phrase “Post Tenebras Lux” translated into the English means….. “After Darkness, Light.” The “burning bush” symbol and the Latin phrase were used by the Reformers to represent the light of the Gospel of Grace overcoming the darkness of works righteousness and self-confident synergism which was the basis of salvation in Roman Catholic Church in the centuries leading up to the Reformation.

I am finding great solace in these biblical truths of late:

Sola Fide ~ Faith Alone
Sola Gratia ~ Grace Alone
Solus Christus ~ Christ Alone
Sola Scriptura ~ Scripture Alone
Soli Deo Gloria ~ Glory to God Alone

I give God praise for who He is and for the great blessing of preaching His glorious gospel by His eternal Spirit for the honor and glory of Christ.

It truly seems like a dawn after a great darkness...
