I'm sitting in Dave's office right now and I laughed at that. I completely agree with this guy and have been thinking about it for a bit lately too.
People are always looking for their calling, but don't we all have the same basic calling? We aren't all heroes, aren't all meant to do something great. Most of us will be who we are and that's it. Nothing wrong with that, that's just how most people are. We can't expect everyone to turn into an Elijah or a Paul. We may wish that, and even force ourselves into a "calling", but it's what we want, not God. Spreading the Good News is something anyone can do. Taking it to New Zealand... that's not for everyone. Bringing a new vision to the church, God's going to really let you know on that one. If you aren't sure, then you can bet it's not for you.
