I came back to Christ in Thailand. I don't think I could have done it in the US. I was dissallusioned with what I thought Christianity was there. I followed the medias disdane for Christianity as well. But seeing Christianity from an Eastern perspective helped me re-evalute the religion. And I realized I believe in it, deeply. And I'd bet most non-believers or once-believers back home would too if they got a chance to see Christianity from different perspective. Without the American culture mixed into it. To see Christ for Christ, and not as a religion or a bad memory of having to go pee and be quiet while sitting in those boring pews...
