What we can do...

Good Life club

Often when evil seems to prevail, we wonder what can we do. Here is a practical way to help those in Burma.

The good life club comes from John 10:10, where Jesus promises abundant life, and is especially applicable to children who are on the run, hiding with their families in the jungles of Burma.

What to do:
1. Get the following items together:

For mothers and children:
Multivitamins (for mom)
Pediatric vitamins (Gerber Vitamin Drops, for example)
Cap, hand mitts and a shirt (not a one-piece) It gets very cold in the mountains of Burma!
A drawing or photo of you or your group
A post card from your town or state
A teether
Small fingernail clippers

For Children:
Small comb and mirror
One box of children's chewable vitamins
2 child size toothbrushes
A drawing or photo you or your group
Fingernail clippers
A small toy

2. Then, making sure to put everything in a sturdy ziplock bag, send to:

The Good Life Club
Box 14 Mae Jo
Chiangmai, 50290
Thailand

I took this picture after we had walked for weeks into Karen State. That boy is opening a Good Life Club pack that somebody sent from America. It was carried on the backs of people for weeks to reach that boy. And he was thrilled, he and his friends played with the little cars like they had never seen them before. His village was attacked the week before and he was living in the jungle. I can tell you the Good Life Club works. What you buy and send gets to the people, and it makes a difference. Bigger than you can imagine. ~Matt

Eric (and Matt)..thanks for posting this information! It moves my heart so much when I read about all of this. I so want to be a part of doing what I can! We will also continue to spread how people can help so that more can help be a part of taking care of His people! Tina

I'll let my youth church know about this.
