I saw this when it came out and enjoyed it as well. A lot of creative creatures, great special effects, barely PG13, but somehow with all the things going for it, to me it fell a little short. Hard to put my finger on why, maybe if the humor was left out, oh well. Have you seen Hell Boy? I thought that was a classic show. Never read the comics as a boy but thoroughly enjoyed the character and effects. Had humor as well but it all seemed to fit. Dad
