Speaking of movies...

You recommended the movie, "The Visitor" a while back. About a week after you mentioned it on your blog, we watched it. It was the first movie we watched together after my mom moved in.

After we finished watching it, she said, "That was a pretty good show." Then a few minutes later, she said, "Wow, you know, I really enjoyed that movie." And then a few minutes later, "I really loved that movie. I'm so glad we watched it."

It was really good. It's one of those movies a person needs to savor and chew on and digest before its full impact hits you. Here's to giving up passionless living so that we can REALLY LIVE. :)

You also recommended Wall-e, which we actually watched a few nights before I saw your post about it. It's definitely one of my favorite animated films, and one that everyone should see, not just kids. Our family loved it so much, we watched it 4 or 5 times in the next couple of days. (Well, I didn't, but the kids did. And I watched the parts that I happened to be in the room for...) :)

I'm looking forward to seeing T4.

Have you seen the movie "Fireproof"?

I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard it's a must-see.

God bless you!

Oops, I forgot to tell you...

We also recently saw the movie "Once", which truly blessed my heart.

And I am the happy owner of "The Alchemy Index" volumes I-IV by Thrice. I really love their style and I'm glad you mentioned them on your blog, or I never would have known about them.

Merry Christmas!
