Well, that is basically the opportunity to get $9,999,9000.00 with a 1 in 10,000 chance of dying.
That sounds like a lot better odds than everyday life if you ask me. I have about a 1 in 18,452 chance to die in a fatal auto accident vs. a 1 in 43,000,000 chance to win the lotto.
All that being said I would stop after the first 1,000 boxes, make some good investments, and live my life a little richer because I took a risk.
I would get a bomb sniffing dog to find and remove the one that is wired to blow. Gather all the other money, pay the dog handler and enjoy my rich reward! (ehehe) LeeElla

I would open one. Let the chips fall as they may. If that worked, I would open another one. If that worked, I would open a third.
If I died on the first one, at least it's a story to tell.

I'd open one, and if I survived, I'd pay someone $900 to open another box for me. Then, if the hired worker was off'd, I'd cry at the funeral.
I'm just kidding. I'd tell the inviter that there were surely better things to do with a room, boxes, a murderous device and tons of cash.
