The Raging Spokane Falls
I took the boys downtown to see the Spokane River raging like a beast from all the spring runoff. If you live around here...you must go down and see the falls both upper by the YMCA and the lower under Monroe St. bridge, it's worth it, trust me.
I have the amazing blessing of being able to work at City Hall in downtown Spokane. I just want everyone to know that there is a set of stairs behind City Hall that takes you down right next to the falls. It follows pretty much the same path as the gondola. The beauty and power of the river will take your breath away if you venture down there, which I highly recommend. :)
