I saw this little guy crawling across the sidewalk this morning on my way to meet with the church. I was caught off guard by his journey. He reminded me of these guys....
I remember watching
Sesame Street as a kid and loving oscar the grouch and his friend Slimey the worm. It's amazing how you can grow to be attached to a character that has an obvious stick or string dictating his every move, all plain to see to the naked eye. I used to daydream about what Oscar's can home was like inside. I also loved the

Dude! Oscar was a favorite of mine. I also like Snuffleupagus (whose first name is apparently Aloysius).
And the Muppet Show. One of my all time favorites. You can attribute/blame a lot of my sense of humor to that show.
Oh, and...Jim Henson was a genius, whose influence is still felt and sorely missed.
That looks like a gummy worm to me. Did you see it move? LOL!
