We took the afternoon and headed to stateline and enjoyed a little crawdad hunting in the refreshing Spokane River. Micah and Austin enjoyed a cool swim while Destiny and Christian hung out on the rocks. Of course Kona spent most of the time in the water too. Unfortunately when they got out they were covered with little leeches...oops, better check the water better next time. :)
Micah found a crawdad and was adamant that we take him home...but I convinced him to let him go, reluctantly.
We also took Kona to the stateline leash-free dog park, it's about 3 acres of fenced play area for dogs. She had a blast, running, chasing balls, playing in the sprinkler, craping on the sidewalk (which Austin enjoyed picking up) exploring and...sniffing doggie butts.
