Very true, Jesus also said in John 10:34 "Jesus answered Is it not written in your Law, I said, You are gods? He was quoting Psalms 82:6 "I said, You are gods [since you judge on my behalf, as My representatives] indeed, all of you are children of the Most High.
Now before I get labeled a heretic, I don't believe Jesus meant that we are God or can become God but he was speaking about the heights that we can attain as men filled with God.
And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:1-4 RSV
The serpent has no wings, but the eagle soars. I've heard that eagles even eat lowly snakes. My problems look pretty small when I get a higher perspective on things. - LeeElla
