Gutter Flower

When I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, I said to you while you were in your blood, "LIVE!" Yes, I said to you while you were in your blood, "LIVE!" -Ezekiel 16:5-6

This is the reason for the gospel, for the prophetic voice, for gathering. Love is calling for an answer. The cities are calling, this generation is a flower in the gutter and she has captured my heart.

I'm not sure what to write about this picture. It so captivates me. The caption of gutter flower....
It speaks so loudly, so much pathos, so motivating and so heart wrenching. It is as though the Lord is looking through the lens taking this picture to speak to His church.
Powerful.

I thought so too. it reminds me of how I saw a young woman in Amsterdam one rainy night under a bridge where we were with a group of YWAM people feeding the homeless. I shared with this girl for a long time and ended up praying for her for healing that night. But I had to leave that night and I remember looking at her as I rode off in the night on the tram as it rained outside. Tears fell down my face as I bore the pain of homelessness that night. This picture reminds me of that girl. She was a flower in the gutter.
