Phase One: church garden project starts

The heavy machinery came in and leveled, uprooted and tore out all bushes, small tree stumps, cement and garbage...leaving a nice plot of ground to begin construction on the church garden. We need to beg, salvage and recycle a list of materials to build the fence and raised beds for the garden...the total cost is $1500 for all items needed to complete the project. If we can't find the items we need for free, we will purchase them if we have the money. If you want to pitch in please contact me with money donations or Daniel Dailey (dailey72@comcast.net) for material donations. This garden will provide our community resource center with fresh fruit and vegetables for our weekly dinner and for families in our neighborhood.
This is our water retrieval system that will help supplement watering of the garden with free water from the roof.

Awesome. Ferile ground it appears to be. In more ways than one...

Praise God, Pastor Eric! It's very exciting! I'm glad you're posting about it here so we can all follow along with the progress and rejoice with and for you!
