A watered garden

A watered garden

The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought,
and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden,
and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Those from among you shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In."
-Isaiah 58: 11-12

Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
-Isaiah 61:4

LeeElla and I have been attending an amazing seminar by Dr. Steve Crosby on prophetic and apostolic reformation. It's basically 4 days of intense biblical teaching on reestablishing the Charismatic church on a solid foundation of Christ and straightening out all the kooky theology and weird practices and all the Old testament mindsets and practices and returning to new covenant truth and Spirit empowered practice. It has been so meaty, deeply challenging and so refreshing and confirmed so much within ourselves about the role of the Spirit, the prophetic/apostolic and the community of God in a healthy, balanced way.

It has also been extremely revelatory too. So far for the last two days God has been downloading His will in energizing clarity and pulling pieces of destiny together that we have never fully seen clearly but now understand with new prophetic urgency and joy. God has been opening our ears and speaking so clearly to us about our future, Spokane, New Hope and the emerging church.

The path ahead is being bathed with light.

Those who have been carrying a burden of prayer over this last season, can rest assured that the Lord is unfolding His will for all of us in such a way that will bring rejoicing, understanding, excitement and the fulfillment of years of sowing.

An inheritance in the Lord and in this city is going to be apprehended by faith, courage and new thinking.
